I bought this a few years ago to use as a MIDI output device for a music program. When I upgraded to a Windows 7 computer, I found that the WK-110 was no longer usable. Casio confirms that it is incompatible with W7, and since the WK-110 is a discontinued model, there are no plans for Casio to support it in the future. 8 people found this helpful. The 'Repair' feature does not function on the SMF Converter InstallShield Wizard.
Selecting 'Repair' causes the following messages to appear, and the repair routine refuses to run.
- 'Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Casio SMF Converter.
The Windows Installer cannot continue'
- 'Error. -1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.'
If this happens, first uninstall the programs by selecting 'Remove', and then select 'Modify' to reinstall the programs instead of performing the 'Repair' function.

Details:
Clicking 'Date' to sort in chronological order on your computer screen causes an error message (Including many question marks) to appear and fails to sort.
After confirming this error occurred, clicking 'Reload' causes the same error message to appear however the reloading operation is performed successfully.
Restarting the software after performing the above procedure will cause the 'Reload' error message no longer to appear. Make sure not to click 'Date'.
